I am going to be participating as a player in a campaign. If I purchase the Battle Smith subclass from Tasha's Cauldron, will there be any issues with integrating it into the campaign even if the DM and the other players don't have it unlocked https://100001****/ ?
If it's just you? In terms of DDb, no, no problem at all. May want to make sure the DM is happy with it, some aren't, but nobody else has ti havs it unlocked or anything if you want to play as one.
If other people want to play as an Artificer and you want to let them, someone in the campaign (doesn't matter who) has to have a Master Tier Subscription and have content sharing on. If they do and one person (again, can be anyone, doesn't have to be the one with the sub) owns the Artificer (either by buying the whole book or by getting one of the Subclasses), then everyone in the campaign will have access to it.
