What're some good songs that'd be fitting for the conclusion of a longtime (4-5 year) campaign? I'm thinking of drawing an animation to go with a finale song, but I'm having trouble finding a good one. Keywords are bittersweet, farewell, conclusion, melancholy, and calm. Any song recommendations are appreciated! Edit: The vibe of the campaign has been an epic fantasy, save-the-world climactic adventure, but with a lot of light-hearted moments. The ending itself might end with a PC death or two, but will end with lots of final goodbyes.
DeVotchka - How It Ends? Commenters here won't really know the vibe of your campaign to be able to offer up a perfect example, but hopefully you find what you're looking for

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?
It's gotta be Don't You (Forget About Me) by Simple Minds. And you have to put up text giving little epilogues for each of the characters. It's the only way.

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.
How I'm posting based on text formatting: Mod Hat Off - Mod Hat Also Off (I'm not a mod)
Depending on how things finish up perhaps Billy Joel's "Only the Good Die Young", but somehow I don't think that is the direction you were going with here.
Thanks everyone who recommended music---while I haven't found the right song yet, some of these recommendations are just great songs in their own right! Added to my playlists already, haha

Go to YouTube and do a search for "Bittersweet Ending". You'll get some good suggestions for instrumental music you might like.

You could do worse than The Verve's Bittersweet Symphony.
Also U2's Running to Stand Still.
I would say, JRPGs have some of the best music for this.
I would start with this:

The track is called Answers. It is by far my favorite Bittersweet victorious song.
