I'm probably just dum or something, but a bit confussed. I see we can now preorder both digital and / or physical books for new dnd, 5.5 e, 6e, dnd next next, one dnd, dnd 2024, wtf ever it's called.
But I also see in subscription fiddly bits it says heroic or master tier you get early access to the books... but like... does that mean we don't need to buy them to use them.... or, is it meaning if you buy them AND sub, you get early access.
I'm probably dumb and overthinking this. But anyone see any official word on this?
Subs do not unlock book content. It just means if you pre-order digital ones, you get early access: 1 week earlier if Hero tier, 2 weeks if Master.

That I do not know. There's a lot of discrepancy between D&D Beyond store and WotC store.
I would imagine that the WotC gives you a code for unlocking on D&D Beyond or does it for you if your account is linked. When it does it should recognise the sub and unlock early. But then if they can do that there's no justification for non-US customer not getting the digital extras that US customers get when ordering phys+dig bundles. So, it's very unclear at this point. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
