We all know that Drow's that either disappoint Lolth or straight out betray Lolth may get the Divine Punishment of becoming a Drider. Thought, we can play as Drow's, there is never a mention of a PC turning into a Drider themselves (at least from what I found), therefore I decided to make my own idea and spin on it.
Take this with a grain of salt, this might not be balanced, but it's a cool concept idea I always wanted to try out in a game myself;
"You are a heretic and a traitor to your people, and as divine punishment, you have been turned into a monstrosity that walks the depths until the end of times."
Arachnid Body. Your lower-body has been transformed into that of an arachnid. You are now considered to be the side of Large, along with your creature type transforming into a Monstrosity. Your carrying capacity raises to that of a Large creature, your Hit Points raise by 2 instances of your Hit Dice, and, when calculating your weapons damage, you are considered to be a Medium creature, and do not gain the additional bonus dice of a Larger Sized creature. Additionally, you may walk through 5-by-5 terrain, though you do so as if you are walking through difficult terrain and you do not gain the benefits of ignoring difficult terrain from spells, magic items, etc, while traversing this way.
Bloodthirsty. Normal nourishment no longer satiates you. You are required to consume blood at least once every 4 days in-order to nourish yourself and to stop your body from deteriorating.
Spider Climb. You gain a climbing speed equals to your walking speed, and can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
Web Walker. You ignore movement restrictions caused by webbing.
Pedipalps. You can make a melee weapon attack using your pedipalps dealing 1d4 Piercing plus 2d8 Poison. This attack uses your Strength modifier, with a reach of 5 feet.
// additional feature:Sexless. You are now sexless for all means and purposes. (for those asking, why? It was stated long ago that Lolth made sure all Driders are sexless, for the sole purpose they could and would not reproduce to make an army to dethrone her. what a cheeky little devil)
