I was trying to boost the sorcerers power by giving them autoprepared spells with there subclass but I can only add them to my spell list can anyone explain how to do this properly
Hey Donald - terminology might be tripping you up here, and it would help to clarify what you’re doing. Are you picking a subclass for a character, or making your own homebrew one? I think the latter.
Sorcerers don’t prepare spells - they have a list of spells they know, and they can cast any of them. This is different to clerics, wizards and druids, who have access to a larger number of spells - either the whole spell list for the class, or just the ones in their spell book for wizards - and must prepare a smaller number of spells from that list per day. They can only cast the spells they have prepared.
It sounds like what you want is to add spells known. For examples of sorcerer subclasses that do this, see the Aberrant Mind and Clockwork Soul. You’ll want to use the “Spells” option for this ability of your subclass.
