This might have been asked before. But when a warforge integrate an armor into themselves, is it like in their picture, and it's kind of their skin. Or is that just their "base look", and it would be more like a Space Marine. More like bolted onto them. I'm curious as if they could wear a robe over themselves and cover it. Guess I have liked that idea, since, probaly Lord of the Rings. At least they have armor on their hands. But the idea has been there
To don armor other than a shield, you must incorporate it into your body over the course of 1 hour, during which you remain in contact with the armor.
Anything beyond this is personal flavouring to be decided upon by you and your DM.

I don't see any reason they wouldn't be able to wear a robe and pull off the classic Doctor Doom style.
