Playing a level 10 lore bard. Trying to pick my two new Magical Secrets spells.  This is a 2014 game.  Was looking for Destructive Wave and Steel Wind Strike.  I have the books for both spells but neither shows up in the build section as possible choices. What can I do?

Did you scroll down all the way in the list of spells? There are multiple sections in there. You'll find Destructive Wave under the "2014 Core Rules" section and Steel Wind Strike under "Expanded Rules".

Those are both 5th level spells, and a level 10 bard can only cast up to 4th level spells, is probably the issue.

Level 10 full casters have two 5th level spell slots.
