I just saw this file, and prefer the layout-->: https://media.dndbeyond.com/compendium-images/phb/downloads/DnD_2024_Character-Sheet.pdf but it does not allow for filling in before printing. Does anyone know where I can find a form with a similar layout, that I can fill in like the first form? Or does anyone know of a way I can turn the second form into a fillable file?
Any help with this would be appreciate. Thank for your time!
When creating your character through D&D Beyond, there are 5 steps (screens) that you go through, then the final step is called "What's Next". On the What's Next screen you can export your Character Sheet as a PDF, and when you open it, it has fields that you can click into to edit/add information.
If your character is already created, you can get to this screen by clicking on "Manage" next to your name, and then in the right-side fly-out, select "Manage Character and Levels". When you are in the Character Builder, look at the top grey-bar and select the "What's Next" option, then you will see the Export to PDF option.
If you are looking for a totally blank Character Sheet, I'm not sure where to look, as I have access to a decent PDF editor through work.
Breathe, dragons; sing of the First World, forged out of chaos and painted with beauty. Sing of Bahamut, the Platinum, molding the shape of the mountains and rivers; Sing too of Chromatic Tiamat, painting all over the infinite canvas. Partnered, they woke in the darkness; partnered, they labored in acts of creation.
Cheers and thanks for the attempt, but I've made several characters using the digital character builder already.
I'm trying to create some premade Player Characters for a game I'm putting together so my players have some options for characters if they don't want to go through the process of making their own. (Most of my players for this game don't play DnD regularly and get confused with the character building.) Or to use as reference when they create their own from scratch.
The problem is, 95% of the character building information for my game is Homebrew with a lot of help from ChatGPT. So I can't go into DnD Beyond, build a bunch of characters and print them as the information is not available in the generator.
To fit your situation better, why not create the characters through BBD, then put them into a campaign and unassign them so anyone that you are playing with can grab them.
It solves the problem of your players not understanding how to create characters, and then you don't have to go searching/struggling like you are.
Just a thought :)
Cheers!

Unfortunately, most of the information for character building for my game is Homebrew, which would require me to enter it into the Homebrew creation for it to be available for character building using Beyond's tools.
The problem with that, is that I end up getting confused on how to enter everything for it to show properly and have the desired effects when character building.
I guess if nothing else, I can take the time to clear all the fields on a filled out form, and save it as a clean sheet.
I know I'm just making things harder for myself. Haha.
Hi, I'm trying to find a character sheet PDF that I can fill out before printing. I found this one-->: https://media.wizards.com/2016/dnd/downloads/5E_CharacterSheet_Fillable.pdf but things get cramped when trying to fill it out.

Go to your character sheet in D&D beyond, such as: https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/150614396/B9Mp61
Click Manage by the character's name > Export to PDF
The generated PDF can be edited as desired.
