Hi! I'm a DM and just bought the digital version of Tyranny of Dragons for a campaign. I'm new to using the Maps VTT and want to know the best way to add map tokens for the specific NPCs in this campaign so my players feel more immersed.
If it's an NPC without a separate stat block, what I've done is that I've looked through my source books for a monster that best fits the NPC and added that to Maps. Then I've renamed the token to be that NPC. Or if it's a homebrew creature I've created and since I don't have a paid subscription and therefore I can't add custom monsters into Maps, I've searched for the most fitting picture to use as the token and have the actual stat block open in another tab.

Thanks in advance!
