I'm not sure if anyone is aware, but there is a D&D Beyond international site. Doesn't have the option to pre-order the Ravenloft Horrors within products. It's been going on for four years since its launch, and only the US and UK sites are advertising and taking pre-orders. It isn't even showing up on the international website store.
I've wanted to pre-order it for days now and I'm growing incredibly frustrated that I'm unable to do so. Does anyone know if it's being worked on or some type of news?
There was a comment on the discord from the community support manager yesterday or the day before that the devs were aware and looking into it. Not seen anything since though.
Same here, in Canada and extremely bummed to not be able to pre-order the digital+physical book set via the online international store, when everyone else can pre-order it.
I have a question, one of the perks of pre-ordering the ultimate bundle. Is the play along feature for the new dungeons and dragons Actual Play. While the first play along is free for everyone. All others require us to pre order the product. As we are unable to do so on the international store. Will this mean such a feature won't be available to us? Will we end up missing that portion of the pre order feature.
I have the exact same question about missing out on the pre-release stuff if we aren't able to pre-order from Canada.
LT, are you able to provide any insight into what's going on?
The actual release is still a ways off so there isn't a HUGE rush to pre-order yet - the initial pre-release update from earlier this week isn't mind-blowing - but I am the same as swordinstone74 in that I don't want to miss out on any of it either! LOL
Ok, so I emailed their customer support and they instructed me. To pre-order their digital-only content to be eligible for their exclusive digital extras. They then stated that once the Canadian store is updated. We can contact them through the customer support and they'll update said order to reflect the order wr do want to place.
Here's the rub at least for myself I've attempted to do just that. Yet their American site won't accept my debit card or my Capital One credit card. So their input isn't helpful at all and it's basically stuck us back to square one.
They said they are updating the Canadian store soon though and be on the lookout. Yet they didn't give a time frame so that could be frankly whenever..
International store will be closing. Does that mean that Australian's can never order the physical + digital bundles ever again? We will have to purchase from local game stores and then a second time at full price on DnD beyond?
Yeah thats the question I had. If they're canning the international store that's terrible news for consumers outside the US. As an Australian here this is trash news. I'm not gonna order off DDB a digital book copy for full price if I already have a physical one, hell no.

That seems to be the gist of the article. It seems the bundles weren't as popular as they thought they'd be.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
Even if the bundles aren't as popular in a global sense. They aren't discontinuing them, they are just not shipping worldwide. I don't see why I couldn't just pay more shipping as an option and they send me what is already produced.
The option for a game shop to sell the physical edition with a digital code as a bundle would make sense. It would still make them more money than just ignoring the rest of the world.
There is definitely no way I'm paying full price twice. It just feels bad after putting so much into these bundles over the year to have them taken away as an option.

Ah, well thank you DCTrekkie I'm honestly surprised this is still unresolved.

Yeah, I'm in Canada as well and it's not an option for us. I'm a big Ravenloft fan and the fact that I can't pre order it. Is quite upsetting.

Argh - Australian here...
I guess I'll just keep looking at the partner site.
Weird, I think this is the first time that this has happened.
Anyone heard if there has been any progress on this?

ModeratorThese FAQs were posted yesterday. Sounds like there’s changes coming to the /us site.
Canadian customers: https://dndbeyond-support.wizards.com/hc/en-us/sections/48784419825428-Ravenloft-pre-orders-for-Canadian-customers
Non-EU/UK customers: https://dndbeyond-support.wizards.com/hc/en-us/sections/48784308324884-Ravenloft-pre-orders-for-non-EU-UK-international-customers
Presumably the /eu and /uk sites are unaffected.

At least it's an update 😀
