Basically, you need to think of this like iTunes, or any other Digital services like that. Just because you purchased all the DVDs for the movies you love, doesn't mean you have a license to use the same movie on iTunes. You still have to buy it there if you want the movies on iTunes. Or Amazon. Or Google.
One person can buy the books, and they can be shared with the party. That part is really cool. Our group is a little funny. We have at least 3 people with the full Legendary bundle. Even though others owned it, and were sharing it, I wanted to have the knowledge that I had them all too. But, if you are on more of a budget, you can get the books you need (like DM Guide, PHB, and MM) and be up and playing. There is no requirement to use DND Beyond to play D&D. But if you want the access to the digital tools, it is an additional cost above the books you already purchased.
I was very annoyed at first that I'd have to re-purchase all the books I bought, but the more I played around with DND Beyond the more I've come to love it and really love the utility. So far I've just purchased what I need to make my character, and for future characters. I got the PHB, the DMG, Volos and the other supplements that add to character creation, and a couple other bits and bobs. I like that each purchase reduces the cost of the book, and the legendary bundle. Through all my purchases the legendary bundle is now around $200 for me.
I am one of those people though that NEEDS the physical books as well, even if I primarily use DND Beyond when playing and creating characters and looking things up, I still want the physical books on my shelf. So I would be super stoked if their books came with some kind of coupon to get the digital version of that physical book for a percentage off, because right now I'm spending like $35-$40 for the physical book, and then $25-$30 for the digital book. It'd be great if when you buy the physical book you get some kind of code to get the digital version a bit cheaper.
appreciate the replies and understand the current ways, but was just curious if D&D Beyond was thinking about or currently discussing such a subscription options with wotc

The short answer is no - no such conversations are taking place, because what you're asking about isn't possible.
The longer answer can be found in the thread BrassZeus linked above.
Any discussion about creating a subscription for all the players that already have a lot of the books and don't want to have to buy them all again?
It has been discussed at length. Please see the A Buyer's Guide for DND Beyond
