I'm trying to purchase the player's handbook on dnd beyond. However, it's asking for my address of residence. Will they ship anything there, or do they want to know it for a different reason?
As I understand it, this is a legal requirement for them due to tax being calculated based on where you live (your billing address might be different to where you live).
D&D Beyond purchases are entirely digital - they don't ship any physical goods.
