My friends and I were thinking about spliting the cost of the dndbeyond package with all the books and I wanted to you're guys opinions before I agreed.
Is there any issues with 5-7 users logging into the account? Appvn
Would you guys say it is worth it over buying another set of "group books"?

The Master Tier subscription allows sharing of content within a campaign.
Due to the way that works, a group of people could purchase 2-3 books each, then someone with a Master Tier subscription could enable content sharing for the campaign, and then everyone in the campaign has access to all of the books.
Please note that allowing other people to access and use your account is against the Fandom Terms of Service.
OP, I understand the reason for considering this. I invested in many of the books and subscribed to Master tier for our family campaign. Per StromKnight's post, i'm the only one with access, but i can share with my players easily through DDB. It works great. i think you should consider the long term wisdom of this in your case. The friends that invest in this may lose interest in the game or whatever and it will be messy with them being mad they don't own the content and noone will buy them out.
So, how about this. First, you don't really need ALL the books to play at the outset, so focus on the ones you need. You may just want to get the players bundle and the DMs Guide. Second, buy the content yourself so its yours outright. Then ask your friends to go in on paying for your master tier as long as they are part of your group. 60 bucks a year for 5-7 people is chump change. If the group really wants another book beyond that initial set, available or future, then everyone chips in to buy you the book, knowing that its yours and if they leave the that's the deal. Again, 30 bucks or so for 5-7 people, not a big deal. There may be some reasonable variations on this but this the best way i can think of to get most of what you asked about.
