I'd like to try out the spell points variant for spell casting, and I'd like to track spell points on the DDB character sheets.
I'm pretty sure this isn't an option on the generic sheets, but is there a way - via snippets or the like - add a HP-style number tracker for tracking a Character's spell points?

You could Homebrew a feat which has Limited Use feature equal to the amount of spell points.
Thanks :)
That would work - but wouldn't I have to have a separate custom Feat for each spell-caster in the Party, and edit it every time they go up a level?
That's certainly doable as a workaround - but it seems kind of clunky.

You can set it up in such a way that it scale automatically with the level.
And no, if the progression is the same for the classes, you need only one feat.
OK - I'll tinker with that, thanks :)
Even if I have to make Class specific versions of the Feat ( not sure that's needed even ), that wouldn't be too much overhead.
Appreciate the help :)

So - how do I add this arbitrarily to a character? I created a test feat.
I don't want to use up a feat slot for a character, and I want to add this to a character which would not normally have a feat.
Or am I better suited making a custom item for this?

Perfect, thanks.
It's a bit annoying having the spell list, and the spell point tracker on different tabs - but for now it works.
Appreciate the help!

OK, looks like that is a no go.
I set the spell point levels up to level 6 ( 32 "uses" of the Feat ), set a quick generated character to level 6, and added the feat.
Tried to adjust the spell points, and had the system throw a Uses cannot exceed max allowed usage error.
Guess there's a hard limit for Feat usage per long rest?
You have discovered a portal to a new plane where things are not working as intended.
