So I recently purchased the Hero Subscription in order to create unlimited characters and add then added them to a campaign. I've also purchased the marketplace PHB so I have unlocked all traits/feats etc.
Because these are *my* characters and I've built them on *my* account and *my* campaign; when I invite other players to claim a character, will they be able to see/access/edit the character sheet as if they had purchased the PHB (i.e. with no restrictions in traits etc). Or will I need to upgrade my subscription in order for them to see this (as that would enable content sharing).
P.S. I know if my entire party had their own characters that they created on each separate account and then wanted to bring them into my campaign then that would be a different story and I would definitely have to upgrade. Just curious if this is different if only one person is creating everything. I hope this question makes sense. Sorry for my bad English.
They will be able to see the sheet as-is, but if they make changes to the sheet they will be limited to the content that they own. For example, when the level up or if they want to change spells, they will only have access to their own content.

Sure but let's say I level up the characters myself and oversee any changes. They'd still be able to see content that would normally be restricted to them?

I'm not sure if it would work, but the only way I can see it working is that they would have to unassign them, and you would reassign them to yourself to do that. But I'm not 100% certain.

Hmmm seems like I can edit them without reassigning. Strange... DnD Beyond don't make it especially clear. It's why I wasn't sure how the subscriptions work. In principle , I'd have though there'd be a caveat to what I'm doing and I'd have thought I should be paying the highest subscription but I have more or less all the functionality without it. Ah well. Thanks anyways!
Yes - A campaign creator can create all characters for their players using their unlocked content, unassign them, let the players claim them, then modify for the players as they gain levels and adventure. It's more workload on the campaign creator, but D&D Beyond fully supports that functionality.

Thank you very much Sir :) !
