I know they are changing all the Half Race stuff (totally silly but whatever). For those of us that use D&D beyond AFTER this new revision of 5e drops, will we still have the option to keep playing half races and being able to add these to character sheets as we can now?

There is no definitive answer to this. Until it actually releases, there can be no guarantee of anything. Sorry to be the one to say it, but anyone saying that it will be definitely anything is mistaken.
That said, judging by how they've dealt with books that they no longer wished to sell in the past, the most likely thing that will happen is that they'll make the PHB legacy, which means that it will no longer be sold, but.if you already own it, then you can use its content (including half-orcs and half-elves). Everything they've said so far seems to support the idea that you'll still be able to use the various options.
As I said though, things can change right up until it releases.

Yea I own everything on D&D Beyond, but I just can't trust WotC to do anything right any longer and am debating to just buy all the books on Roll20 and just run my online games from that app instead so I can keep my 5e the way I want it. I don't plan to buy into this new revised 5th.5 edition so I am considering my options. Knowing if I buy everything on Roll20, I think if I bought all the books I need to have every class/race/subclass it will cost me around $275 but in the end it might be worth it and just make a clean break from WotC all together.
Bear in mind that Roll20 isn't out of their reach either, they're also subject to licensing terms etc. I'm not going to try and persuade you that WotC is trustworthy, but if you're truly concerned about what they're willing to do, the only safe digital media is that which you cotrol, like PDFs. Since they don't do PDFs, then physical media is your only realistic alternative.
I personally seriously doubt they'll block your.half races etc...but you need to make your own assesment, and if you feel that you need to get more secure access to your content than DDB already offers...then Roll20 won't be much better (they, like DDB, also stopped selling Volo's and ToF). You want physical copies.

I mean, your books aren't actually that much more secure on Roll20 than they are on D&DB, you're still just buying a license to access the material for as long as the site keeps it up, unless Roll20 is giving you a PDF with your purchase. Given that WotC has been making a big thing out of this not being a new edition and the fact that they saw how quickly Paizo stepped in and made a killing the last time someone got a visit from the Good Idea Fairy that involved "taking something away" from the players, I seriously doubt they're gonna revoke access to any material users have already purchased.
We don't know whether or not this will continue to work on D&D Beyond, since Wizards of the Coast hasn't clarified or made any definitive promises or statements on this of yet, unless there's something I'm missing.

Either Crawford or Perkins, I believe, at the D&D Content Creators summit was widely reported by attendees when called out on WotC's handling of its revision of mixed heritage character options with words to the effect, "Look, if someone wants to keep using the Half Elf out of the 2014 PHB, they can." It's ambiguous but I think it points less to WotC treating the current PHB's half elf like say negative ability modifiers (they're gone) or some lore that were excised from Volo's or Mord's (also gone). Rather, I don't think we'll be seeing any sort of further errata or erasure to the 2014 PHB, like we've seen with other books, at this point. So from that position the question becomes what will the 2014 core and 5e content made to support or expand that core look like in the future DDB once One D&D becomes "D&D"? A lot of folks think putting all that, including the Half Elf and Half Orc under "legacy" tags, "delisted" from sale in the marketplace but available to folks who've bought them, or people playing with those people under a master tier arrangement. But as far as I know there's been no official word on what that legacy content will look like when the new product line starts going live ("legacy" annotations like we have with MToF and Volo's, a toggle like we see with CR content in the character builder, a tab, etc.) as I imagine those particulars are still being worked out.
