What Crawford says is RAW. I treat RAW as RAW. Because it's RAW.
The only things that are RAW are things in the rules and in the errata. Jeremy is explaining how the written rules are intended. Sage Advice is the definition of RAI.

Actually, it would be RAI (rules as intended). If it we're RAW, it would be in a source book and not rulings on Twitter.
This. I sometimes look things up for clarifications but then freely use or ignore at my discretion. If it's not in a published book, it ain't RAW. And even if it is, I might change it. People actually play RAW?

I was going to argue with you because Crawford had previously said that his rulings on Twitter were official but it looks like he recently had a change of heart:
How do you use Jeremy Crawford's rulings? Do you
a) ignore them completely and use your own
b) follow them religiously, to the point of upsetting your players
c) use them when it suits you, and turn away when you disagree.

This. I would treat him like I do any player, which means what the DM (me) says goes.
