What does invisible mean in regards to umbral sight. Ranger steps into shadows and just vanishes. If he attacks from darkness does he remain in darkness? I mean how good is this. In the dark he runs through a group of orc and slays them and they never see him?
They are invisible. You still know where invisible creatures are, but them being always unseen means the invisible creature is going to be attacking with advantage, attacks against them have disadvantage, they don’t provoke opportunity attacks, and they can attempt to Hide even when not behind cover.
