Will there be any way for my players in the campaign to use these without having to buy the book? Would I need to upgrade my subscription to get content sharing?
Yeah, someone in your campaign would need a Master Tier subscription to enable content sharing. It doesn't need to be the DM or the person who owns the book

The pre-order bonuses typucally use art assets from the book, I wouldn't anticipate D&D Beyond release those art assets prior to book's release.

Correct - the art assets need to be received from the publisher before the D&D Beyond team can create the pre-order bonuses.
