I would have it be able to unpack a workstation for my artifice. Say I was proficient in smiths tools, and I could use the servants action to transform itself into a small portable forge. While using the servant as the toolset, gain advantage on checks made with the toolset.
Since artificers use toolsets for their magic, it would be cool if the servant could be upgraded from a workshop into like a spellcasting battlestation.
If you were an artificer, and you could build your very own customised mechanical servant; what kind of cool, non-combat utility would you give it?
