Im looking to join an upcoming dnd campaign within the next few weeks and ive been working on a charecter for awhile and i was just curious if its something i can make work or not, basically i wanna run a steel dragon charecter. i know it shouldnt raise any issue abilities wise being the whole perfect polymorph and such but i didnt know if there would be any other speed bumps i should be concerned about. I know they have other abilited they can call on in there human form but im sure i can just ask the gm about just removing those. it wouldnt even be recognizable as a steel dragon honestly unless i end up dieing in the campaign and thats where i would want it to be interesting. Like maybe after the death he reverts back and before vaulting converses with the party and such. figured it would make for some great rp opportunity and even possibly leave a hook for me to rejoin the group in its next chosen life?
Thoughts??
