What in-game jokes or nods to past games are in your campaign?
As I prepare a new campaign, I am putting two of my favorite references to past games.
1. Bard anything. I have gamed for nearly 30 years and in the first long-term AD&D 1E campaign, a friend spent the entire game trying to become a bard. As he approached the end of the campaign, he finally became a bard. 2E hit and we made the move so now you could start as a bard. Man was he upset. To this day, I usually have a villainous lieutenant or quest giver bard. An homage to a gamer and friend no longer with me.
2. A powerful wizard named "Raven". My first PC was an elf wizard.
Some in-game jokes from my current (and also my first) campaign:
"Team Noodle Arms!" <-- both my Druid and our Bard have minus scores in STR
"There's no Nishi, there is only the void" said by our Cleric OOC, when my Druid rolled a Nat20 on a Stealth check while wildshaped into a black cat, now it gets said whenever my Druid rolls a high stealth check xD
our Barbarian getting a "rage hangover" and just stopping short before attacking someone he shouldn't afterthe fight is over
Cleric & Barbarian saying OOC they finally need to get leashes + monkey backpacks for my Druid and our Bard (because additional to our low STR we also have low INT and easily get into trouble xD)

Anyone else do this?
