I wanted to use the Abhorrent Mind UA, for a Warlock character that I am creating for my Halloween one-shot.
I got permission to use it, but I can't find it now. Instead, it seems that "The Lurker in the Deep" has replaced the Abhorrent Mind UA when I drop down the list to choose my patron. I want to use the Abhorrent Mind UA - this one https://media.wizards.com/2019/dnd/downloads/UA-AberrantLurk.pdf.
I am making a Scourge Aasimar, Warlock and wanted them to have psionic powers, not just ordinarymagic. I was going to flavour the character as having an ancient and powerful Celestial patron, who has slept for aeons. They are only just starting to wake up again and reaching out to the material plane, with this character being the first Warlock they have created since ancient times. As a result of how old the character's patron is, the powers that they give the character are more reminiscent of psionics than ordinary magic.
The Abhorrent Mind UA was perfect for this theme. Is it still available on DDB and if not, can you tell me how I could get the feel of psionics in a modern-day Warlock character?
Cheers

Yep, this damn well explains why it wasn't there. I don't know what I was thinking to be honest. I even linked to the damn thing that says "Sorcerer" lol. But as it also says "Warlock" on there as well, I think I might have gotten a bit confused and thought that it was for both. Though when I scroll down, it does have a separate section specifically for the Warlock.
Think an Intellect Devourer momentarily teleported inside my head and I had a mind blip.

The Aberrant Mind isn't a warlock subclass, it's a sorcerer subclass:

I'm glad you have it figured out. When I read the thread title, I was like "Yes?"
So I am trying to make a character using the Aberrant Mind for the Sorcerer and it is not show up as a class I can use. What am I doing wrong?
Make sure playtest is enabled in preferences and select it from sorcerous origins dropdown list.
Thank you
