I am looking to start a campaign. I have a question regarding the humans. I have not found any human variants in this world. So am I to assume that all humans have the same stats found in PHB?
Variant Human isn't treated as a different race or subrace from base human. As such, there's nothing stopping you from taking variant human in a Tal'Dorei campaign.
thanks for the response. The word variant was not the right word. I was looking to see if there was any different ethnic types of humans in Tal’Doeri. Such as some humans types that are taller or different skin tones etc. so far I have not found any. One of the players that is in one this upcoming campaign ask that question. I know that I can create this. I was looking to see if there was any in place.
Humans of all different ethnicities use the same stat block, across all D&D settings where humans appear. Tal'Dorei is a Classic Fantasy Kingdom, vaguely western Eurocentric, but other ethnicities exist in Exandria as a whole. Marquet's a place basically everybody wants to see more of, patterned after Arabian regions/states, and we're getting a Slavic flavor in the Wildemount book to come, but regardless of race (not species, race. God I hate that this game has those two so thoroughly confused), all humanity uses the same stat block(s).
If you'd like to switch that up, it's a homebrew thing. Which could be cool, but I'd perhaps suggest doing that in Backgrounds rather than racial stat blocks. Could be more interesting, allowing you to really drill into cultural differences that a species entry really shouldn't deal with.
Thanks that is what I am looking for that Euro/Arabic/Slavic aspects of the humans. Some of my players like to use this to add something to their characters and origins. Extra backgrounds options will be added as well. I am looking forward to Wildemount.
thanks all

Please do not contact or message me.
Basically, Critical Role *really* tries to emphasize diversity and inclusiveness, so absolutely 100% every type of human is OK.
With that said, and for the same reason, you probably won't find any descriptions along the lines of "the brown people go here."
Y,
