thats understood but still annoying for other, after all dnd is played by millions around the world and waiting for the last time zone in the world to get contant just so everyone else can is annoying AF. would be better to release it to australias timezone so everyone gets it sooner rather then later.

Everyone has to wait the same length of time. And which Australian timezone do you want it released under, because there's more than one. Under that logic, why not make the release earlier again and use New Zealands time zone. Sit down, crack a beer and relax while you wait, maybe play some more D&D.
So book is now available to veiw, does anyone know when the extra sub races and sub classes etc become available on the character creator? I assumed would be live at time of release.
I know maybe it's a stupid question, but I'm eager to read the new expansion. Is it known at what time they'll be releasing it?
Usually it comes out at Midnight on the day of release.
Midnight where?

Thats so annoying for those in other countries who would have to wait hours for content just because america doesn't have it yet
To be fair, Wizards of the Coast is an American company, it makes most sense for them to release products based on their own timezones.

Well it's passed midnight for me UTC+0 and the book has stopped showing "(coming soon)" but it's still unavailable. So that's not at all confusing. /s

haha very true
DndBeyond released a Youtube video previewing the book. You can watch it while you wait. I has lots of spoilers for the subclasses.

I would love to know this too, its why i bought the book through D&D Beyond in the first place.
They were also available when the book was released.
Don't forget to toggle on the "Critical Role" option in the character builder preferences.
