I want to start by saying that i am a new aspiring DM in search for a place to play online.
I messed around with dnd beyond for a bit and i like almost everything about it, the only problem is that it dose not have a virtual table top. The other option i considered was roll20 and currently i am torn between them.
I really want to play dungeon of the mad mage with a few of my friends, we all talked together to buy the legendary bundle on dnd beyond so we can have all content to mess around with. Is there a way to use dnd beyond and roll20 together without having to buy the virtual books on both sites? I want dnd beyond for the campaigns but i dont know if i have access to roll20 dungeon specific monsters and maps without buying the book.
My plan is to use a combo of D&D Beyond and Vorpal Board once it comes out. It isn't quite ready but it looks like a fantastic combo of physical and digital! Video of it in action https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mo1fBz2itjU Not fancy, but it doesn't need to be!
