I have shared content with my campaign group, sword coast adventurers guide is active. I have created an elf wizard and want to choose bladesinger as my level 2 subclass, but it doesn’t appear on the list of options. What do I do? It won’t even give me the purchasing option because the sourcebook is already unlocked.
Did you create the character in the shared campaign itself?
To clarify, is the sourcebook being shared by someone else, Or did you yourself purchase the SCaG book on your own account?

"Where words fail, swords prevail. Where blood is spilled, my cup is filled" -Cartaphilus
"I have found the answer to the meaning of life. You ask me what the answer is? You already know what the answer to life is. You fear it more than the strike of a viper, the ravages of disease, the ire of a lover. The answer is always death. But death is a gentle mistress with a sweet embrace, and you owe her a debt of restitution. Life is not a gift, it is a loan."
Oh, good point. I was not creating the character inside the campaign, I was making it on my own. The sword coast guide was purchased by someone else in the party. Maybe that’s the problem. Thanks.

Yeah, shared player options are only available to PCs in the campaign.
Outside of the sharing campaign you can only use your own purchased content and homebrew.
