How many GP is the ring of protection worth?
The Dungeon Master's Guide suggests a value of 501–5,000 gp for a rare magic item, but ultimately it's up to your DM. The default assumption is that magic items are so hard to come buy they can't be easily bought or sold and prices will vary wildly.
