Feeling Very torn and looking for some advice on what content to content to continue forward with purchesing. I have the Players handbook, Sword Coast, xanithars & Ravnica Books, I has have a few unlock Sub-Classes and Races on Beyond. I have all Classes, Sub-classes, Most Races, Spells and Background loaded in my Cart for purchase... don't think I need the compendium's (do I?) for about $150. OR I could just pick up the rest of the books. I don't plans to be a DM for a few years.
I guess my real question is...Is the Time and ease of" Beyond" worth the trade-off of not having/completing the physical books and all the contact contained in them.
You can get most of what you need of the PHB and DMG compendiums from the basic rules. There are a few neat optional rules in DMG that isn't basic though.
I recommend buying XGtE full book. A lot of useful rule clarifications in there. Plus it has so many player options, you can get the book with a coupon for about the same price.
Most of the other sourcebooks contain mostly setting specific information. If don't plan on using those settings, you don't need the compendium.

To follow up on this, if you are playing online and need other content, you can get access to that content at the time. Further, if a player in the campaign has the content and anyone in campaign has a master subscription, everyone in the campaign has access to the content if it's shared.
Anything that you don't have already, you won't need if you aren't DMing. There are typically options from the PHB that are available in all campaigns. Therefore, get the books that interest you and pick up the rest later.
I have the books for all of the content that I own that has a book (as far as I know). I still like to thumb through the books from time to time and having the hard copy means I can take them places I can't get internet connection. I do reference the content much more through DnDBeyond though. Thus, think about how you reference the content most. That's where I would put your resources first. Later, you can get the other medium if you decide it's a good idea.
