I don't know which realm G'eth is in. It's 5e rules. Its economy is in shambles thanks to a band of hapless heroes who accidentally leave destruction in their wake - and leave all their wealth in a lake. (There's a town that's taken to all measurements made in units of Corn - time, distance, volume, weight, currency, social status...)
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. No?” will be my epitaph.
Ohh man I realized I forgot mine. Dragonlance setting book. Complete with a 5 e refresh of the War of Lance era adventures. I would instantly buy it and never play it.
I think they usually save the big book releases for the second half of the year, so with Theros and Wildmount being the "soft" releases, I think it's fully possible to see a big Manual of the Planes or Xanathar's 2 style book releasing in October/November.
Still need a new big adventure very loosely inspired by a classic. Let's go with either Desert of Desolation or Great Modron March. :)
Although I'd also love a somewhat in-character Manual of Planes!
Really, I'd just love to have more planar content!!
Also, there's pretty much guaranteed to be some sort of book with lots of player options this Fall given all of the UA material earlier this year. They don't seem to like the idea of sequel books (i.e. they worry calling it Xanathar's 2 implies you need to buy Xanathar's 1) so no idea what they would theme it as.
Well, I'm stuck doing PBP with no live games and no new book hype. Sure Theros is coming out soon but it's barely getting hyped up at all!
So, lets do some speculation here, none of that reasonable well thought out crap either. The wilder the better, go nuts!
I will guess either a Planescape book (Manual of the Planes).
OR
A new Forgotten Realms region like they did for Chult/Waterdeep
She/Her Player and Dungeon Master
A sourcebook titled, "It's Anybody's G'eth"?

Fingers crossed!
Come on Dragonlance! Its been promised to be coming since 5e's release but still nothing. Come one Wizards get it together already!

Not speculating, just a list of what I personally would like to get:
1) A full length Eberron adventure
2) Dark Sun
3) Spelljammer
An Age of Worms book would be awesome too
I would love a new MotP.
