I have a idea for a scythe swinging magic user, but I want to know if I have options other then hexblade warlock.
Is there a class/subclass that uses big 2handed weapons but can still cast spells? (Again, other then hexblade)
Also the character is planed to be a vampire,so could blood Hunter work? I like the idea of using hemomancy (blood magic) and want to use as little homebrew as possible (before you ask,the scythe is a retextured battle-axe and the race is a modified drow)
Paladin can build themselves that way for sure. Paladin Hexblade is a VERY common multiclass because both prefer charisma and the hexblade lvl 1 abilities are pretty awesome.
Aside form the aforementioned paladin, any Cleric that gains martial weapon proficiency through their domain should work. Death or Grave Domains are very thematic for it if a little cliche, War domain could be a good one as well for that champion of the common folk style. Otherwise you could go for Fighter/Eldritch Knight if you want a little spell casting or you could go for Druid but you'd have to invest in the weapon master feat to get proficiceny with sycthe or go for a race that grants proficiency like Hobgoblin, but if you went the hobgoblin route you could then also open up any wizard or srocerer class that takes your fancy as you'd also get light armour proficiency as well.

Any spellcaster can use a two-handed weapon and still cast spells. As long as you have one free hand, you're golden, and you can hold but not wield a two-handed weapon with one hand. The only issue is making sure that you'd have the correct weapon proficiency, which would probably be Glaive.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
Depending on how do you want to play this character, starting off as a wizard/necromancer is a viable option. Your spellcasting focus could be the pole of your scythe that would be coming offense of weapon if and when you can take the "weapon master" feat. If you want to play as and alt– Human you could take the feat at first level and be good to go right from the beginning. Or you could take the dip and the fighter for the weapon proficiencies and go from there.

Fighter / Eldritch Knight would be a way to go. Are you a fan of Chrono Trigger?
Not a fan per se, but I have watched chuggaaconroy's let's play of it and enjoyed the experience. Why?

I only asked because one of the antagonists of Chrono Trigger was Magus, a scythe wielding magic user. It was the first thing to come to mind.
