Hi! I am a complete beginner to this game but I really want to play it for years, is there anyone or groups I can join so that I can join the adventure you are having while showing me the ropes?
Definitely check out roll20. It's a free way to play online. They should have Looking for Members somewhere on the page. I haven't played in person in years.

I also always recommend asking your close friends and family, even if you are unsure if they're into D&D. A lot of people want to play and are just looking for someone to ask them!
I play there, it's pretty good. Note, there are 'pay' DMs, but you do NOT have to use them. While it can take some time to find a free open game, it is worth it.
If you can't find a regular game, look for a "West Marches" game where they have multiple people being a DM and have a group of approved players that can sign up for a game.
