is there a known demon Lord who fits this description?
I was thinking that he would have to be male, and the layer of the abyss that he controls is very masculine and phallic. He is a lord of armies unseen, a lord that was once beautiful, but whose form has long since been twisted and corrupted by the flesh warpers and shapers of the abyss. He lives in a palace that once was magnificent; but now, like his body, and all things and people that he has touched, is full of filth and disease and rot, upon which he feasts like some ancient glutton that time forgot.
This particular demon lord would appear weak compared to the others ..... but in his own way, is far more powerful. For his is the way of patients and time. He slowly creeps into into the hearts and minds of those whom he infests, devouring armies and toppling empires. None can resist him, once he has set his sights on you, you are his. You might fight against him, even resit him for a time, but in the end he will ware you down, infect your mind and soul with his filth and then ... consume you.
Despite this however, he values beauty most high and actively searches for it. He covets beauty as his greatest desire is to fill his halls with beautiful people and beautiful things, and his search is never ended, because sooner or later, even great beauty succumbs to the filth and rot and inevitably becomes food to feed his insatiable apatite.
He is the lord of pleasures both subtitle and gross and around his bloated mass, in his palace of decay, dance concubines and slaves, and all those who seek to align themselves with him, or gain his favour. He is a demon lord that is both made fun of and feared by all the others, for they know, that if ever he should rise from the bowls of his exile few of them would survive, as in the end, all things decay and are devoured by him most vile.
is there a demon lord that fits this description, and if there is not one that entirely fits, which one comes the closest?
Thanks

I personally would just give him a name, and you have exactly what you want. You don't need canon here. I see what you described as someone that Graz'zt has defeated.
Otherwise, the 'canon' of various Demon Lords are only a subset of the idea you have listed. But, since you asked, some that have been mentioned in prior editions (This list is from https://succubus.net/wiki/Demon_Lord_(Dungeons_and_Dragons) ) if you really want a 'defined one'
Yeah, there are 666 layers of the Abyss, and the ranks of DemonLords aren't ordered like ArchDevils. Name your own Demon Lord and pick a number for his lair and run that bad guy. Or call him Dazig II: Lucifuge. I keep that name in reserve for my most grim dark creations (not dissing you, I like the work you put into this Lord's background and domain). Plus, Glenn Danzig needs to be outed as a D&D player. No one appropriate so much H.R. Gieger art into his aesthetic without being able to pick out a d8 from a line up. I'm not buying the "I was at the gym" stories.
to mention a grim dark universe set 40,000 years in our future...have you considered someone ike Slaanesh?
To quote the wiki:

Wherever mortals are ruled by their own unquenchable desires, the Dark Prince of Chaos is there in the shadows, whispering, tempting, and feasting on a banquet of souls. , but this is true in all things, not just carnal pleasures. Those who desire to indulge in the finest culinary delights, the most beautiful artworks, even the most sensual clothing, could all be amongst Slaanesh's disciples. Just as importantly, Slaanesh is also the god of perfection. The singer striving for the most beautiful song or the warrior who seeks the perfect fighting techniques, both could be devotees of Slaanesh.

If you want to keep it a bit more d&d canon then you could resurrect the god Moander, acording to the wiki (https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Moander) he was based on the 223 layer of the abyss.
Isn’t there infinite layers of the abyss not 666? By what I recall the DMG states infinite layers. @midnightplat
True, current edition describes the abyss as "virtually endless". I'm not sure whether 666 is strictly from pop culture lore or a prior edition. I was thinking the 9 layers of Hell came from Dante and early writers decided to use the pop culture association of 666 with evil to structure the abyss. But it says in MToF's if Demons conquer a world it "in effect becomes another layer of the Abyss," so, interesting. Maybe that's Danzig II: Lucefuge's plan.

Thanks everyone. I guess when it comes to demons and the abyss, there isn’t many constraints. Though I was trying to chose a demon lord that is already known, just because I thought it would be easier.
Perhaps not.
