Hey guys, I'm about to start running icewind dale and my players are using dnd beyond. One if them is a goliath who, out of character, is interested in becoming a werepolarbear. I know how to make that change on paper but how does one apply that change on DND beyond character sheet? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
You can't apply the were-creature templates in the D&D Beyond character sheet. I'd go through and use the override tools and change everything manually
Or you can create a feat that corresponds to the benefits and drawback of the werebear template, and then add the feat to the character. This way, it has something on his sheet clearly labeled werebear lycanthropy, and you can easily change things without touching his sheet just by modifying the feat and saving.
I've personally transformed one of my players into a vampire after some shenanigans, and to this day, i keep on using feat to apply everything the transformation gave her.
