I have a Necromancer, she respects the aspects of Life as much as Death. She has the Book of Osiris and is looking for the Book of Isis before she has to face Amun-Ra.
I wanted to add extra prepared spell slots in the books as a boon for permanently attuning to them. But there is no such option as far as I have been able to find.
I've seen multiple posts that have referenced this spell preparation lack and eh... D&D Beyond has a hard restriction on this. Why tho? I understand the rulebook and all but what about homebrew? I can have +200 to attack and damage for a shortsword if I make the sword, but I can't have a few extra prepared spells? It can't possibly be more than 2 hours of coding, and that'd include brewing coffee and driving to work.
Did I miss something and am I posting this without a need to? Maybe a feature I haven't been able to utilize due to not finding it in Homebrew? If not, then please just undo that restriction on spell preparation... It's pointless and counterproductive to put it up. I really don't wanna have to resort to Dicecloud...

Doesn't seem possible. You can add your voice to

As a work-around, how about having the book grant the ability to cast certain spells each day without expending a spell slot?
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
