Following on from a few feedback posts asking for additional modifiers / options to be added to homebrew - what additional modifiers would you like to see?
Please post in this thread and I'll update this post to include all (reasonable) suggestions.
edit: to clarify, I am asking for suggestions for MODIFIERS in HOMEBREW that you would like adding.
Whilst other suggestions are cool and appreciated, this thread is not the place for them and sadly I will need to delete them to keep the thread on track and useful.
Please note - there is no promise that suggestions will be implemented - I'm just gathering ideas from the community for the development team.
Public Mod Note
(Stormknight):
Please can you clarify? There are already modifiers to change all movement speeds & types

Devious serpent folk devoid of compassion, yuan-ti manipulate other creatures by arousing their doubts, evoking their fears, and elevating and crushing their hopes. From remote temples in jungles, swamps, and deserts, the yuan-ti plot to supplant and dominate all other races and to make themselves gods.

I'd like to see the adility to create home brewed adjustments.
This I'd like to be able to create would be things like Blessing of the Forge where you selected a suit or armor or a weapon you are carrying to get a magical +1 bonus. Or, similarly, the ability.Spellsmith Imbue Item. I can think of far too many add add here. (ie: Mage armor, Shield spell, Shield of Faith, etc.)

Watch your back, conserve your ammo, and NEVER cut a deal with a dragon!
I just made a spell that had among its effects, "The target's hit point maximum cannot be reduced." I was unable to locate such a modifier under "Immunity" (where I would expect it to be) or "Protection" (which could really use an explanation).
On that note, I would very much appreciate it if you could somehow add description tooltips to all the options in those dropdown boxes, and I'm sure many others would, as well.
While I'm here, you've got a stray apostrophe in the description tooltip for "Available for Class(es)".

Not certain if I just haven't found the right modifier for some of these (in no specific order of importance).
Substitute relevant ability score for X feature (where X is the desired aspect. eg. AC, Initiative, Skill, attacks, hit points, and so forth) Attunement slots Conditionals (like how some features give proficiency or expertise if already proficient, or level dependent features) Recovery Hit Dice (IE. those used to heal during a short rest) Physical Size Spell preparation/known slots
I'd like to be able to choose the stat used to attack with (trying to create a balista type weapon that uses str, not dex), and to be able to replace the damage dice of the base weapon.
More "choose" options for ability scores. The other day I was trying to make a feat that would allow you to choose from charisma, intelligence, or wisdom for a +1. The current options only allow choosing between two of those options or choosing from the aforementioned three and Dex.
Public Mod Note(Stormknight): Currently the best way to do this is to add an action that displays an attack. You can then toggle the default unarmed attack off on character options.
The ability to adjust unarmed strike damage and damage type.

I'd like if we could have more conditions for modifiers. Conditions that would apply only if the character use a certain weapon (similar to adding Dex modifier for finesse weapons) or when a user wear a type of armor (similar to Defense fighting style, or Medium Armor Master that applies to medium armors only ).
It would be nice to be able to set climbing, swimming, flying speed equal to (or a fraction of) walking speed.
Not a modifier, but being able to create Fighting style as part of the homebrew creation would be nice two
I would like to be able to add an ability modifier bonus to all spell damage and healing. I would also like to be able to create a custom initiative calculation.
Perhaps I just haven't figured how to do it, but I'd like to see the option for negative ability score modifiers like the -2 Intelligence for orcs from Volo's Guide.
I know it's not a modifier, but like... Actions for magic items. Please. Pleeeeeeeeease. Currently magic items that can be activated with an action have to be custom added per character sheet, which means if an item changes hands (or you're publishing it for others to use) it needs to be done over and over and over again.
Would like the ability to "Replace Damage" just like we can "Replace Damage Type".
Been struggling with this item in particular, were I would like it to do (DEX proficiency bonus + 2d6 Radiant damage). Can't seem to get rid of the base 1d8 of the Rapier.

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?

I would like to see actions in magic items, substituting skills abilities, say making medicine an intelligence based skill, and negative modifiers.

Over all, the ability to create Adjustments in General would be great. Things like applying the effects of spells, potion, etc would go a long ways.
In addition the ability to create different point buy systems (I use 30 points in my campaigns) would be nice.

I'd like to be able to set "# of uses" for modifiers, for example: Advantage on Charisma ability checks once per long rest
If there's already a way to do this, please tell me because I can't find it anywhere.
