"The Details", as shown on the Subscription page, is that you're eligible for monthly perks if you're a subscriber.
"The Details", as people are actually looking for, are a half-dozen new character sheet backdrops for May subscribers. Or April subscribers, more like.
Thanks for posting this - I felt like I must really be missing something, especially since I didn't notice anything new - I have the Master Tier subscription and have bought all the books; unless I'm missing something the only "new" thing is a set of backdrops in that case? (Seems a little weird that the more you pay, the fewer perks you get?)
Part of me doesn't really care - I'm not subscribing for the perks - but it's also disappointing to see the news, try to read the details, come to the forums to understand why I'm not seeing any 'details' on the subscription page that they linked, then open a private tab, go to the page... and see that's just new backdrops.
I guess I'm kind of looking a gift horse in the mouth, but its teeth don't look so good.
With minimal sleuthing it was pretty clear the perks were in line with things like the pre-order perks, some what I broadly call character sheet cosmetics, plus dice in the cards some months. I'm not really into perks, but I know a lot of DDB members are really really into them so I think this is a fine minor value added to what the subscriptions already render the member.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
It's also the first way you can get character sheet shinies without having to preorder books, which is a thing many people are not comfortable with doing. I still don't know why basic sheet-shinies packs aren't an option in the store yet, it seems like a really easy minor sale. Like, a really easy minor sale. I mean, Adam Bradford coded a set of character portrait frames himself in basically his spare time for Tasha's Cauldron, and themes are nothing more than adjusting a hex code value and saving it as a new option in the system - these are basically free for DDB to create. Even if they sold at the $1.99 minimum order value for an online transaction, they'd be profitable.
I am confused. How do you see the May perks? I clicked on everything I thought would work & nothing. I would appreciate any help. I am not great with computers. Ty
Unless it's been fixed you won't see the actual details if you are logged into the site and click the banner link to go to the subscriptions page.
At least it doesn't show for me. Had to open an incognito window where I wasn't logged in, then I could see all the May Perks.
Thanks for letting me know, been trying to figure out what they were
