It's gotta be homebrew. To double check, if you assign it to your character and go to the Features & Traits tab, if it was from a book it would say (PHB) or (XGtE) etc next to the feat name. Homebrew won't say anything. But also it's not listed on the feats page, where you can see the names of all the official and current UA feats, even if you don't own the source. So the feat must be homebrew belonging to someone in the same campaign as the character whose sheet you're seeing it on.
And that's what I thought too but I'm the only person in my campaign room and I havent made any homebrew feats. And it doesn't have a cited source ie PHB or XGE, so I figured homebrew. But i didn't do it nor is it listed in the public searches for homebrew feats.
There are also the Demonic Boons in Mord's, which are supposed to be applied to NPCs, but I could easily see a DM turning them into high powered feats. The different archdevil cults in Mord's also have NPC features that could be turned into feats as well, and seem a little more PC feat scalable than the Demonic Boons (which usually include "up to" +4 asi and some heavy power features for a feat). I could see some of the features being broken up into feats though.
Dont know if this is the right place to ask this, but does anyone know the source of this feat? I can't find any info on it.
"As a blacksmith uses heat to temper steel, so should a trial by fire strengthen one's mettle."
I have never heard of it. Maybe it could be homebrew? The avernus or mordenkainen books might have something about it.

I am a swimmer. If you see me running, you should run too, because it means something horrible is chasing me.

Did you make the campaign? If not it could be the DM's.

I don't know any feats of that name, but there are diabolical deals in GBDiA. Could it be that?
