Okay; we all know that True Strike is the worst cantrip in the game right? As in: mathematically alone, it is actually statistically inferior to just attacking twice; either way you roll two dice, over two rounds, but only True Strike artificially makes you only hit once. I actually feel bad for the people who don't read the spell closely; and add it to their list, presumably by accident.
So: instead of making thread number 4879 about how it's bad: I put me brain toward fixing it. Thus: my proposed "better" True Strike.
1) UP it from a Cantrip to 1st-Level Divination... no really; this will make sense in a second.
2) Remove concentration, and extend the range so that it can't end prematurely as readily.
3) Instead of granting regular advantage: it grants the fabled 3-d20 super-advantage. NOW, you are actually getting something for your sacrificed round as opposed to standing there like an idiot pointing at your enemy like the evil monkey from Family Guy.
I debated making it a bonus action to cast; but that might be too much.
Point is: instead of being a waste of a spot on your cantrip list: now it's a "I can't screw this up!" spell for clinch moments; and making it 1st level prevents it from being too spam-able.
Of course: that's just my idea; you could always just cut that spell out of your PHB and use it to line a bird cage. Thoughts?
