So long story short, I'm asking for advice. I'm trying to build a feat that adds spells to your spell list accessible to your class. The problem I keep having is that it either makes the spell castable at will or I can set limited uses. Is there a way I can make it to where you can select the spells when you're choosing your spells? Or can that only be done with subclass edits?
I am also trying to use Artificer Initiate. The feat (in DDB) doesn't allow the bonus spell to add to the list, so I have been trying to create a 'fix' version, even if the spell needs to be hard coded. As is, even with manually using it, I can't cast it at a higher level (ie Cure Wounds cast with a level two slot should be legal for a sixth level wizard, but does not work with the DDB feat). Has anyone found a workaround (other than... forcing the feat into a subclass/subrace/race)?

It could be done by editing either the race, background, or subclass, but not feats at the current time.

Damn. That bites, but it was expected. Thank you!
No problem. The simplest would probably be either the race or background

I'll try those and get back to you. Thanks for the advice.
anyone know if this has changed? just trying to manage with the tasha updates for my players without making multiple race changes.
Edit* to clarify i have the physical books, not ddb source books.
