I created an updated Shadow Sorcerer homebrew subclass. (Unhappy WotC didn't include in the new rules!) Followed the dudes instructions in pinned threads above but still have an issue with the feature for Additional spell list.
Created a Shadow Spells class feature. Added additional spells in the Spells section ticking the correct boxes (i think). Which are always known and do not count against your total sorc spells known.
But in the Character Builder it looks wrong asks me choose spells. There are 5 drop down boxes asking me to choose a spell which is wrong. It should just add the spells. Any one know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!
5 Choices1st level
1st-level Shadow Magic feature
You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Shadow Spells table. Each spell counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.
Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be a conjuration or necromancy spell from the sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list.

The feature seems to be describing both additional spells, and an expanded spell list. Is this intentional?
