I might be missing something obvious here but how do I add a new subrace to my homebrew race. I can't edit the published version and if I make a new version it seems to remove all the current subraces.
The only way to edit it, would be to make it private again, create your changes, and then resubmit. Like you said, make a new version and do the subraces from scratch.
