I want to make a cultist or an Ex-Cultist background any ideas? I was thinking of a re-skin for current backgrounds and the biggest candidates were Criminal and Acolyte. But having a fully fleshed out one would be nice.

I was thinking of this as well. Though I think something from soldier background could be used, like giving them a rank that other cultists would reflect.
There may need to be two different backgrounds, one for ex cultists and one for current cultists.
