I've tried searching for this but I cannot quite find a similar situation. My DM and I came up with a solution for a new variant human build that instead of the Skills and Attribute bumps, I instead get a feat and an Instant +1 to my proficiency bonus. (in order to fit in with my character I named it Blessing Of Pelor as i'm playing a Cleric.) On pen and paper it was all good, but now when I'm trying to build my char on here, there doesn't seem to be any way for me to change that stat, which of course affects every other stat. Am I missing something or Is there a way to get this change to show on my character somehow? Thank you in advance, as it's driving me nuts to see my character without his godly blessing :( Does Pelor not have any power here!?
The power curve provided by proficiency bonus is constant throughout all characters in D&D 5th edition, regardless of level, so it's not considered something that should change as part of a class.
Short answer is - no, you can't.
The long answer..... you could make a homebrew magic item for your character that adds to everything you get your proficiency bonus on, like initiative rolls, attack rolls, specific saving throws, proficient skill rolls etc.
