Hello, I’m in the midst of creating a homebrew barbarian subclass with d&d beyond. So far it’s been a real pain to make, and I’m getting nothing but problems. I currently have one glaring one I cannot seem to fix:
The 3rd level feature grants the choice of four subclass feature options (like path of the totem, beast or storm soul). However, when I select said choice in the character builder to test it, the selection doesn’t stay and is immediately removed? (Keeps the blue outline indicating a selection is available to make)
I have a feeling it might be to do with the current 10th level feature: It presents an improved version of the level 3 options, and I have selected that there must the be prerequisite choice required to match the features. I tried making this 10th level feature a “replacement” feature rather than “granted” but learned that that’s only really for things like tasha’s stuff. Changing this back to “granted” has not fixed it, however, and I am now lost for options.
Send help
P.S. I’m also trying to figure out what a “Granted” class feature is supposed to mean. Any knowledge would be helpful.
