I've created a homebrew Assassin-based subclass that allows for a homebrew spell. I've set the spell up to be usable by the class, and set up the class to be able to cast this spell. But when I select the archetype on a character, I can't select any spells. Not sure what is blocking it, but I can't select the one spell to be used, or see any spells on the character sheet once done. need help!
Public Mod Note
(Stormknight):
moved from Support to Homebrew
https://www.dndbeyond.com/classes/rogue/subclass/188814/edit and its only to cast this one spell. But even if I select to let them cast all spells of their class, it still doesn't give me the spells option like it does when I select arcane trickster

Is the subclass designed to be a caster, or is it a feature that allows them to cast this single spell?
If you link your subclass here (you don't need to publish it) a moderator can take a look.

I've added a feature to your subclass called SAMPLE SPELL CAST, which should show you how to do what you want.
The example I added allows the character to cast the spell Darkness 3 times, recovering those charges on a short rest.
There are lots of different ways you can configure that to work, including making the spell cast at will.
