I made a homebrew race but I can't use it. (ps: it's my race and it isn't approved right now)

Please check:

That you have "allow homebrew content" toggled on for the character.

That your homebrew race doesn't have "has subraces" toggled on - this makes it a parent race like Elf or Dwarf that can't be used directly.
