So I have a magic item that I have called the Weapon of Arcane Blasting. Basically any simple weapon gets a 30/100 ranged attack dealing 2d10 force as part of the players attack action with no attunement (If they have one attack they either melee or use the ranged attack, two attacks means they can do both in the same action). On DnD Beyond, I have the modifier for a ranged weapon attack for the item, but it doesn't appear in the player inventory. I believe I have seen this work in the past, just am having a hard time figuring it out
You should make a feat that goes with this item that provides a custom attack action with your specifications. Then when a character gets your item they add that feat to their sheet.

This is rad.
I can see an Eldritch Knight having alot of fun with it.
