I want to make a magic item add spells to my player's character sheet, or at the very least have the link to those spells click-on-able in the magic item itself. And yet, neither of those things are working. What is the point in the homebrew magic items having an "add spells" button if it doesn't even link the spells? For reference, here is my magic item below.

The Blade Of Setesh Shortsword 1d6 thunder damage + str or dex Finesse, light, martial Requires attunement by one who has truth of self, certainty of self, a strong will, and a heart of the desert.
A hilt made from black obsidian, meticulously carved with tiny primordial runes. While attuned, as a free action, you may summon the blade of the sword, which is made from powerful wind and sharp bits of swirling desert sand. At user’s desire, the blade may be up to 10 feet long, and is able to pass harmlessly around allies and quarter cover. The blade may also be dismissed as a free action.
It is also said that whoever wields this sword may, in certain circumstances, be able to wield a sandstorm, and / or protect against one, but the exact method is a mystery. One who is unable to fully wield the sword might still be able to entreat it for help in certain circumstances, or possibly wield it partially.
While you are attuned to and within 20 feet of this sword, you know the following spells listed below; They are always prepared, and you may cast them using your spellslots, or using charges as detailed below.
The sword holds a total of 3 charges, regaining 1 charge each sunrise. You may expend one charge to cast one of the sword’s first level spells, two charges to cast one of the sword’s second level spells, or three charges to cast one of the sword’s third level spells.
