I made my own Hombrew class today and loaded up for every one on DnDB. I thought I can still add new Stuff to the same Class but i can only see the option to creat a new version. The thing is it makes an entire new homebrew Subclass section in my list and i dont want to spam the Offical Hombrew section with my unfinished class. It would be awesome if some one has any advise for me.
The main advice is that PUBLISH is for completed homebrew that has been fully tested and is ready for use by the community.
Once published, you CANNOT edit homebrew - your only option is to create a new version.
The reason for this is because someone may be using the homebrew and we cannot have a situation where homebrew that is being used changed without the user being aware.
As Stormknight said, once published it can't be edited with the intent that you don't publish until it's done. That does make it difficult to get feedback on it if the community can't see it until you publish it however. It would be nice if the system alerted anyone who has it in their collection when there is a new version, but I don't think it does. You can remove the old version from your own collection if the clutter bothers you like it does me.
